Hi Cloud friends! It’s been great to get into more of a rhythm at the shop. Melissa and I are at the shop full time and Laur has had a ton of fun capturing photos of all of your sweet pups. We have even more cool stuff we’re working on, including the first Cloud book!

Cloud Goes Creative

long time dream come true. The creative part of Cloud Grooming Creative is finally in motion with an amazing new project I’ve been wanting to do for 5 years! Together, Laur and I are making a photo style guide book that shows each length of hair (and the corresponding “cloud cut”) on the same dog!

This is something that we run into on the daily - things like 1/32th” blade length won’t tell you much about what your dog will look like or how much maintenance it requires, so this will help give a visual.

Plus, a lot of the short Cloud cuts are super cute and require little to no maintenance - but without seeing what they’ll look like, it can be a little scary to request a short length.

*Our shortest length (3/8”) is super cute, like a retriever - and requires little to no maintenance.*

No one’s made a guide like this, and once we started the project we understood why - we had 7 different haircuts and 7 different photo sessions in one day! Our model, Marley, was amazing - she doesn’t know it but she’s going to be in a book in grooming shops around the world.

*We took a lot of breaks to throw the ball and have fun!*
